BI-XENON

FACTORY SETTINGS COMPARISON

OEM FACTORY STANDARD

When the headlight is in low beam mode, the shutter covers half of the light output. When you switch to high beam mode, the shutter is drops inside the projector. Because nothing is blocking in front of the bulb the projector allows more light, which produces a further beam output giving your headlight a high beam effect. This concept is what is applied to all the latest OEM Bi-Xenon headlights on Mercedes, Audi, BMW and VW (unlike many fake bi-xenon out there, which simply puts multiple set of xenon bulbs in different housing or have the HID bulb itself moves forward and backward to achieve the beam pattern differences).
